There’s a nature crisis in the UK – and around the world. Plants and animals in our own backyards are under serious threat – a massive 40% of species are in steep decline in the UK alone.
The good news is that you and your family can help by becoming Backyard Nature Guardians! All you need to do is sign up and pledge to protect a patch of nature near you. Because by helping plants and animals in your own backyard, you will help protect the planet for the future.
We’ll help you every step of the way with FREE resources and FUN missions to get involved in.
Nature needs you. Are you in?
When you sign up in the UK, your patch will appear on the map so you can show everyone that you’re taking action and encourage them to get involved too!
It doesn’t matter how big or small your patch is, what matters is that you do something little and often to help plants and animals thrive there.
Guardians
We are incredibly grateful to our Founding Partners the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation for helping support Backyard Nature in it’s first year and a half. It is thanks to their support that we have planted over 500,000 wildflower seedballs, built more than 300,000 bug hotels, and so much more!
However their funding has now come to an end and we are now looking for new partners to come on board and support the campaign. If you know of an amazing organisation who would be interested in supporting our mission to protect the planet and connect ALL children with nature, get in touch here.
