How to make a butterfly feeder

Stuff you'll need:

  • Card
  • An old plastic bottle top
  • Scissors
  • A stick
  • Tape
  • A pot with soil in it
  • Cotton wool
  • Colouring pens or pencils
  • Sugar
  • Water

Our beautiful butterflies are in decline and they need your help! Butterflies need food to give them the energy they need to fly. You can help them out by turning your garden, school grounds, balcony or window box in to a butterfly restaurant. This simple how to guide by the Wildlife Trusts shows you how.
