We’ve teamed up with housing associations from across the UK to help children protect nature where they live. Our partners include Catalyst Housing, Clarion Housing Group, LiveWest, Swan Housing Association, Sovereign Housing Association, Orbit, Ebbsfleet and Phoenix.
We will be working together in housing estates around the country to help improve the quality, and increase the use, of green spaces for local children and their families. We will do this by providing training, resources and funding to help housing association staff, local community partners and residents connect with nature.
We have produced a number of resources designed to help staff and community group leaders run sessions to connect young people with nature on their estate. These resources are free to access and will be useful to any community group working with children and outdoors!
If you are – or would like to start – working with young people to protect and learn about nature, we’ve got some brilliant resources to help you! It’s easy to do and anyone can get involved – here are some useful tools to get you started.
